We can perform all types of vehicle services including interim, minor and major services to all cars and vans. We will use both dealer parts and original equipment parts as required for your vehicle.
We recommend doing a vehicle service at the same time as your annual MOT test.
How To Check Your Oil
Checking your oil is an easy job.
Don’t wait for the oil light to come on, as normally this means it’s too late!
- Make sure is on level surface. warm your engine up to operating temperature, then stop the engine long enough for the oil level to settle.
- Lift the bonnet and pull out the dipstick.
- Wipe the dipstick clean, then refit.
- Remove dipstick again and read oil level – ideally the level should be between the minimum and maximum markers.
- If the oil level is close to or below the minimum marker, then your oil needs topping up.
- Ensure you check your handbook for the correct grade oil needed.
